I am making bread pudding and reading. I think D.H. Lawrence is driving me crazy with his excessive, repetitive sensual adjectives. I just looked at my lists and realized that I have committed to reading a whole selection of supple mental texts.
I think that you broke "supplemental" on a line accidentally on purpose. So you could get "supple mental." Which sort of describes Lawrence's excesses, no? At least where supple means "compliant often to the point of obsequiousness." Maybe just a little.
