No expectations, no expectations. Just plugging along on everything else. Picked up white flags (camp story) again to revise it - what a tremendous task it feels after this past year of learning! I miss you both - 24 this year felt positively drab without the cameraderie.
I know this isn't the forum for all these little things, but I've been meaning to show you this, which reminded me of you (especially the first little guy): http://www.alpaca-spinner.com/Pages/British%20Alpaca/British%20Alpaca.htm
My, my. What a familiar neighborhood. I may not have noticed the OMEC posting until now (Thursday), but I must have subconsciously known it was here because yesterday I (1) watched the "24" season finale on tape, and (2) went to a Decemberists concert.
Yeah, totally with the singing along. Lots of high schoolers at my show too. This huge group tried to save about fifteen seats and I had to get nasty with them. They were swaying arm in arm during "California One" (the cute boy in between the cute girls - clearly an excuse for contact). I can top your shout-out. Someone at my show actually shouted out, "You guys have good lyrics." Was that surprise? Christ.

Can you link to lj so you can read everything? Or should I really commit to my new on the dl blog?

P.S. One of these days I'll show you my J.J. the Great business cards.
The Decemberists show here was one of the best shows I've ever been too. JJ - did you have to scream like you were being digested by a whale?
